News #4: Beta Revolution

"The blast depends on the silence preceding it. The more absolute the hush, the more shocking the blast."
- V, V for Vendetta.
Finally, after a long time waiting in silence, we succeeded to release the Football Stars Online Beta version 3.0, which can be considered as a pre-gold.

Graphical user interfaces have undergone an heavy restyling and they’ve been improved with animation effects, comic-styled images and icons worthy of a commercial product.

The multiplayer online football match has been re-designed again following the precious suggestions provided by beta-testers, becoming a sort of turn-based tactical game as Blood Bowl. Now players can keep an eye on the whole tactic situation for the time needed to choose what to do on the pitch, and they can watch cinematic shots of all players’ actions. All that should be enough to avoid that messy and tiresome style of playing that in Italy we call long live the parson, in which all players become frenzy to catch and kick the ball everywhere and as soon as possible.

Now the players can also enjoy: the soundtracks, which make the exploration of the virtual world an happier experience; the redesigned mini-games, which now allow players to bet on Experience Points; a bit more ubiquitous gaming experience, being the Linux (Ubuntu) and MacOSX (Leopard) game clients made available.

Last but not least, this Beta version has been translated in English, together with the English version of this Blog, so throwing Football Stars Online towards the global marketplace.
